Adaptive Action Sports - In 2008 we were introduced to AAS, a non-profit dedicated to actions sports athletes, artists and musicians living with permanent disabilities. Our work with them grew from sponsoring East Coast events, to the 2008 Summer X Games 14 and more.

Our great friends, Bustin Boards Longboards hosted Adaptive’s first East Coast benefit during their Open House in 2008. OKOTO was proud to sponsor the event, designing and providing the shirts for both the event’s riders and fundraising sales.

Later that summer, AAS teamed up with ESPN, supported by The Extremity Games and the Fillippis Foundation, to bring two new sports to the Summer X Games 14. We were honored to sponsor and volunteer with the athletes during the first Adaptive Moto X Finals and Adaptive Skateboard Superpark.

We are looking forward to continuing our work with these incredible athletes, and the many upcoming events we have planned.
